As I did to the part before this, adding that this will not be compliant with season two, in case this is the first part of this you read. Would've uploaded this sooner if I could've uuuh, decided on a title. Might change it later. Probably the only part that won't feature at least two of AppleHuskerDust.
Lucifer’s heels clicked against the pavement as he walked down the streets of Lust, making his way toward Asmodeus’ tower.
He knew he could have teleported right inside, but he wanted to give Fizzarolli the chance to back out, should he want to. Meeting your partner’s family for the first time was an intimidating moment, he was sure. Lord knows he was a little bit stressed out about the eventuality of telling Charlie about where his, Angel and Husk’s relationship was going.
He ignored the numerous looks he was given, people not used to seeing him around anymore, but his appearance at the battle at the hotel putting him back in the spotlight again had made him more fresh on their minds. How long had it been since he last visited Lust? Several years, maybe even a decade or more.
After being let into the tower by staff and taking the trip up the elevator, he found himself standing in front of the doors leading into Asmodeus’ more private floors. He stared at them, hand raised to ring the doorbell.
He hesitated.
While it hadn’t been quite as many years since he last saw Asmodeus as it had been since he last left Pride, he had still spent the last few years dodging his friends to the best of his abilities. And with the ability to teleport anywhere he wanted in the blink of an eye, he was very good at dodging.
Taking a deep breath, he finally pressed the doorbell. The sound of it was as loud and obscene as he remembered it being.
Every second felt longer than it should, but eventually the door opened, revealing Asmodeus, who lit up at the sight of him. “Luci!” He pulled him into a bonecrushing hug, making Lucifer squeak. “I’m glad you’re finally done avoiding me. I missed you.”
“Missed you too.” Lucifer’s voice was barely audible from the lack of air in his lungs, making Asmodeus finally ease his grip. He pressed a firm kiss to Lucifer’s cheek.
Still keeping him in his arms, he looked into his eyes, frown on his beak. “Don’t disappear like that again, you had me worried.”
“I’ll do my best.”

Leading him into the kitchen, he was finally introduced to Fizzarolli, who had given them a moment to reunite on their own in the hallway.
“Lucifer, meet Fizzarolli, my partner.” His smile was warm as he reached out a hand to Fizzarolli, who took it, Asmodeus fingers gently squeezing his. The amount of love they looked at each other with drew a smile out of Lucifer. “Fizzie, meet Lucifer.”
Lucifer reached out a hand. “Nice to meet you. I’ve heard you make Asmodeus very happy.”
A grey flush rose to Fizzarolli’s cheeks, and as he took Lucifer’s hand to shake with one hand, his other went up to rub at his neck. “He makes me very happy too, sir.”
Lucifer smiled. “Oh none of that, you’re practically family now, no need to be so formal.”
Fizzarolli glanced up at Asmodeus, who gave him a thumbs up. “Okay. You might regret saying that.”
-
After some initial awkwardness, it seemed like Fizzarolli started to relax once they settled in the armchairs in front of the TV at the end of the kitchen closest to the large doors. They were having brunch, a combination of Asmodeus’ home cooked food and store bought items. Lucifer had really missed Asmodeus’ cooking.
When he told Asmodeus as much, he laughed. “You know you could have it a lot more often if you didn’t shut yourself in your palace all the time.”
Lucifer looked anywhere but at Asmodeus, eyes looking with Fizzarolli’s for a moment before he finally looked up at Asmodeus again. “I’m sorry about that. I’ve just been… you know.”
Asmodeus gave him a sympathetic look. “Mhm, I know, but you know being a shut-in has never done anything good for your depression.”
“Can’t be a complete shut-in if you’ve got hickies though.” Fizzarolli’s words made Lucifer choke on his mimosa, almost folding in half as he almost coughed up his lungs. He heard Asmodeus laugh above him.
“I was gonna say.” His voice still full of laughter, Asmodeus patted him on the back as Lucifer caught his breath. “I’m sure I would’ve heard if Lilith came back or if it was one of us, so what hellborn managed to sneak into your bed?”
“Well, uh…” Lucifer’s fingers grazed the hickey that had ended up only partially covered by the collar that he had thought would be high enough to hide it. “None?”
At Asmodeus’ raised eyebrow, he continued. “It’s actually, uh, sinners.”
“Sinners?” Asmodeus lowered his glass, staring at him in wonderment. “I thought you hated sinners. How did that happen? And there’s more than one?”
“I don’t know, I just… ended up getting along with them much better than I thought I would.”
“You met them at that hotel, didn’t you?”
“I did.” His face flushed golden at how easily he had been seen through, though he supposed it was an easy guess. He didn’t really interact much with sinners who didn’t live at the hotel. As Asmodeus asked who, he fidgeted with the stem of his glass. “Angel Dust and Husk.”
“The porn star?” Fizzarolli leaned forward in his seat, clearly intrigued as Lucifer nodded in confirmation. “Which one’s Husk?”
“The bartender.” As that clearly didn’t tell either of them much, he clarified. “The winged cat.”
That seemed to be enough description for them to know who he was; all the inhabitants of the hotel having been caught on TV during the fight against Heaven’s exterminators.
“Is it serious or a sex thing?”
His blush grew darker. “It feels serious. I haven’t actually slept with Husk yet though. Just almost.”
“Almost?”
“Husk almost fucked me on top of the bar a couple of days ago.”
Asmodeus’ smile was face-splitting as he leaned forward, chin resting on his hands. “On top of the bar? I’m proud of you, Lu.”
Lucifer’s smile was accompanied by an amused snort. “You would be.”
For the rest of their brunch, Asmodeus and Fizzarolli spent their time filling him in on gossip that he had missed out on while he had been shut away. There was no way they could cover everything that had passed him by, but that didn’t mean they couldn’t try.
